Where to eat & drink
We are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out within easy reach of The Granary . There are 4 excellent pubs, all within 3 miles! The Stonetrough Inn at Kirkham, recommended in “The Good Pub Guide”, is a country inn that offers the ideal combination of traditional pub and elegant restaurant. The Blacksmiths’s Inn at Westow has recently been completely renovated and again offers a combined village pub and restaurant. The Bay Horse at Burythorpe and The Jolly Farmers at Leavening are both good local pubs situated in the heart of the village. They have varied menus and the friendly local village atmosphere typical to North Yorkshire.
